Over time, sand had blown in causing the sod to raise above the sidewalk. The sprinkler system had become inefficient. To solve this problem, Long's Excavation & Construction removed the sod with a sod cutter then rolled and stacked it. The dirt was then removed to a level below the sidewalk to allow for the sod to be replaced. The sprinkler system was salvaged and lowered as well. All the trees in the yard were unharmed.
